Using an Agent
With the release of the Indore version, Edge.One has been expanded with the introduction of AI assitents, from here on called assistants, hereafter referred to as (AI) agents, with the release of the Indore version. This article goes into explains in detail on how to use these agents are used. To learn more on how to connect about connecting these agents into to a new namespace, please go here.

Basic Usage
Clicking on the Astronaut Icon icon in the top right corner will activate opens the chat window in fullscreen mode. The start screen of this window allows users to chose selection of an agent to chat with inside for a new dialog. Users An existing chat can also select an already existing chat inside be selected from the chat history on the left, or search for an existing session can be found via the search bar above.
After selecting or creating a chat has been selected or created, the agent is ready to answer questions inside a in the chat window. If you are unsure about the agents Questions about an agent's knowledge and capabilities , ask the agent directlycan be asked directly in the chat.

Resize Options
The chat window is freely resizable and uses a responsive layout. It can also be quickly resized into a smaller, vertical view or into a hovering button for use while working. Both the window and the hovering button can be freely positioned on the screen.
The chat can be closed via the close action in the top right corner or the small "x" on the hovering button.

New Sessions and New Chat
When creating a new conversation with an agent, users can either create a new session or a new chat can be created. A new session will start starts a new conversation with the already selected agent. A new chat can be used when users want to change their the active agent and will navigate the user navigates back to the agent-selection screen.

Resize Options
The window can be resized to a smaller, freely sizable window or minimized into a hoverung button. More information on resizing can be found in the section "Resize Options" below

history shows all chats with a specific agent from across the namespace. These chats can be:
- selected to continue the chat.
- renamed via the edit icon that appears while hovering.
- deleted via the delete icon that appears while hovering.
- filtered by using the search bar above.

Manageing Agents
Agents can be managed when the required permissions are available. The Manage Agent tab displays all agents inside the namespace and allows creation, editing, and deletion of agents.
Editing or creating an agent opens a popup that allows all essential information about an agent to be set or changed. For more information on adding a new agent, please go here. .
